Stowtown Records sent out a press release this morning, announcing the addition of Andrew Goldman to The Perrys. Goldman will be a familiar name to Southern Gospel fans for this time spent with Ryan Seaton’s Union Street Quartet. Goldman replaces David Ragan at the lead position, who departed the group about a month ago. In a press release from Stowtown Records, Libbi Perry Stuffle said, “The Perrys are very excited about Andrew coming on board as a part of our team and family. He’s such an incredible singer!”
Goodman was also quoted, saying “It’s such an honor to be a part of the great ministry The Perrys have. I have always been a fan, and I love their passion to see people’s lives changed.” Goodman is a smooth singer, and should be an excellent fit for the group. We wish him and the group all the best. Be watching for a review of the group’s latest project, Into His Presence, which is available at Christian bookstores and digital music outlets everywhere.
For those of you who may be unfamiliar with Goldman, here’s a video of him singing “Who Am I” with Union Street.
